Sustainability and Social Responsibility

We have a responsibility and that is a good thing.

We are happy to take them on because we think in a considered, forward-looking and sustainable way. We are aware that the industry in which we work demands a lot from the environment. On the other hand, this industry has led to individual freedom and accessibility of places, people and cultures like no other. So what are we actually doing to be truly sustainable?

First of all, we review our supply chain to the best of our knowledge and belief. Money and margins are one thing, the future and responsibility are another. We believe that money can be reproduced again and again, but not a future that has been gambled away.

We then make sure that we are not only process-efficient but also energy- and resource-efficient. We work hard to constantly improve in this respect and set Moore's Law as a challenge.

We are also giving real thought to how we can bring logistics, emissions and secondary energy consumption into a relationship that is not justifiable and arguable, but desirable.

We strive for process, energy and resource efficiency and work continuously on improvements. Annual reporting in accordance with GRI standards is coordinated by our certified sustainability officer on site.
