We're happy to take them on because we question our actions and think long-term.

We are aware that our industry places significant demands on the environment. At the same time, it has contributed—more than almost any other—to individual freedom and to the accessibility of places, people, and cultures. Money can always be made again, but a squandered future cannot—which is why both matter to us: economic success and long-term responsibility.

What specific measures are we implementing to fulfill this responsibility throughout our value chain?

• Our facility is heated and ventilated using geothermal energy.
• When shipping our core components, we use returnable containers instead of single-use packaging.
• In our cleanroom, we use reusable protective clothing instead of standard disposable clothing.
• Occupational safety and health are important to us: ergonomic, well-lit workspaces in the office and on the production floor, opportunities to exercise during work hours, and a healthy work-life balance are all standard for us.
• We have established 22 specific requirements for our own operations and those of our suppliers throughout the entire value chain—these ensure compliance with environmental standards, labor laws, and human rights.

Our management system is also certified to ISO 14001: We systematically track the environmental impacts of our operations, are committed to continuously improving our environmental performance, and have this verified regularly by independent, accredited certification bodies.

We track our progress annually in accordance with GRI standards; this is coordinated by our certified sustainability officer at the site.
