The "ecosystem" of mobility

A thesis by AUDIO MOBIL Elektronik GmbH under CEO Thomas Stottan states the following:

In the coming years, individual mobility will change from the automobile to the intelligent networking of different modes of transport - so-called Mobility 3.0. As Figures 1 and 2 show, a wide range of factors are responsible for generating demand for mobility. It is worth noting that there are considerable differences in the influencing factors and the importance of individual segments and their use within the mobility ecosystem between urban and suburban or rural areas.

The requirements for different modes of transport are different in urban areas than in rural areas - Figure 1 and Figure 2 show this impressively!
