Company anniversary: 30 years of AUDIO MOBIL Elektronik GmbH

AUDIO MOBIL was founded on March 3, 1989 by Thomas Stottan in the garage of a municipal building in Salzburg-Nonntal. From today's perspective, this would be described as a typical "garage start-up". Since then, the company has been working on information and communication technology in the context of cars.

The journey began with car telephones on a B and C network basis (the size of a large briefcase at the time) and continued with the careful (because it did not alter the vehicle) integration of high-quality sound systems, some with more than 10,000 watts, through to human-machine interacting operating systems (such as the "interactive Communication Steering Wheel" - iCS for short - where the entire cockpit with all its functions was integrated into the steering wheel).

The AUDIO MOBIL team still has a lot of ideas, visions and reliable partnerships with suppliers and customers in the pipeline: The digitalization of the vehicle and the associated mobility is in AUDIO MOBIL's genes and will be passed on to our partners in an evolutionary way. CEO Thomas Stottan on the anniversary: "Hopefully the next 30 years will be just as exciting and challenging as the past - the digitalization of mobility can come, AUDIO MOBIL is already there!"
